My first home

Sigh... looks like decision has been made to sell my first home...

Talk about coincidence, in my previous post I was talking about the "homes" I stayed since I came to Malaysia. Now I found out that my family has place my first home for sale.

Princess Court, London - For Sale
Posted under: Overseas Property — On November 17th, 2008
Princess Court is located right in the middle of London’s famous West End and near Knightsbridge, Kensington Park and Oxford Street. It is served by 2 tube stations, namely Queensway (Central line) & Bayswater (Circle line).

There are numerous well-established Chinese restaurants and big supermarkets in the neighbourhood.

The 2 bedroom apartment is on the top floor, with an unobstructed viewing overlooking the surrounding house. The property is selling with or without tenancy.

Asking 450,000 Sterling Pounds.

I know that advertisement was posted nearly 1 and half years ago... but I just hope that it isn't sold yet. Even thought I didn't spend the majority of my life there... But it has a long of memory...

The good :

My first home, (well the second home if you count my mother's womb as the first)

I met my "first girlfriend" when we were still kids (I don't remember, but she still reminds me)

Countless Christmas and present!

I built my first snowman (while witnessing the horror of it melting away)

I first experience time chasing birds (and getting chased back in retaliation)

The only time when we were one big happy FAMILY

The bad :

The big argument leading to ...

I guess I was hoping that one day I would be able to get a job back in the UK and stay there again. Guess that is it...
The only motivation for now is I need to work hard now and hopefully buy it back one day...

Sigh... Farewell Princess Court, my first and only place that was a home to me.
